Ive decided to do this myself, i did the cam belts and oil pump etc myself so should be able to do this ......jusyt need clarification on exactly what parts are needed to complete the job. thanlks

Also found out today that the elec mirrors don’t work either, although they will fold. I know all the seat motors , roof motor and mirrors work. They’re all connected some how, I’m guessing there’s a poor earth somewhere....checked all the wiring today and all seems fine and dry. one odd thing...

Guys, I have an intermittent issue where my sunroof doesn’t open/close this happens at the same time as the drivers seat doesn’t operate.....when one decides to work the other will work too. checked and cleaned all fuses, all okay. maybe related to that also....the o/s front side light isn’t...

Guys, I’ve bought a high mileage 2.7 tdv6 and I’d say that either the torque converter or the gearbox oil has expired. Going through the gears the Revs are surging, and a slight shudder, and also a noise that accompanies it. Then once in 6th gear it will cruise all day with no issues. I think...

I’ve recently upgraded the front lights and grill on my D3. I’ve screwed the front grill to the front panel, so it’s not coming off easily.

There’s a product in The Range and B&M called Elbow Grease. It’s a fabulous engine de-greaser. Spray is on and blast it off. Only £1 !

Odd;y if I turn the volume up to max and put my ear to the Hk tweeters I can hear the music very very faintly, but definitely there. But the midrange speakers are silent. All speakers work as normal on am and CD.
