i donn't do alot of offroading really so do you think cheapo's are good enough

Hi , i need to put on rear shocks on me 110, been looking around there are normal ones at around a tenner each then there are gas filled starting around twenty quid then if you go for a well known make they go through the roof. Whats your opinnion? whats best buy and from where? Cheers Brownie

my 1984 110 csw 2.5 d is running smooth ( well in a landy way, ) but she has a bit of black smoke comming from the exhaust, not so when idleing, but fairly constant while traveling. is this a concern? would a new air filter make a differance? advice please
