Hi, The Disco has recently started showing the error - P024F - EGR A shut. I feel no change in performance of the vehicle. The error goes away when I switch the disco off for about 30 minutes and would pop up at random. Any advise?

o_O P1247 has been fixed. Hose issue. One of them had a small crack on it. Replaced all hose connecting to the turbo. No more issues.

Hi, I am getting the P242D error after driving a few miles but disappears after restart. The error causes - Restricted Performance Any idea why it is happening? How to fix it?

P1247 error fixed. Turbo solenoid was the issue.

Thanks. It seems to have fixed itself. No performance issue with the car.

There is one on the A38 - High Range.

it just pops up at random. Nothing for 100 miles and then POP. And there is no other error code.

Can restricted performance be caused by the car not being used?

Not really. I do go for a bit of a drive every 4-5 days. Not on motorway tough. May be 15 - 20 miles..
