It's a TD5 I have been offered a cheap performance intercooler which seems to fit the space with a bit of fettling however i need to be sure it won't foul the winch which is away being repaired at present. i just wanted some decent pics of how others have located theirs.

Update Gearbox is back together!! (that comment hides an afternoon of fiddling!!!). In retrospect I think it would have been easier to degrease it then re-pack with grease once assembled as it was the sticky gunge in the box (ooh-er missus!) that made it so tricky. I'd now like to pack a bit...

no experience of the Coopers but the Dakars on mine have prompted me to search out a 2nd set of on-road wheels. Off road they're fine but too much movement in the tread and often feel the ABS kick in when braking on damp roads

OK, Update I've had the gearbox apart and found a problem with the planet gears where the outer ring slips out but won't re-engage. I think its sorted but I need to get the gears all back in the housing which I'm sure will be a straight forward job - NOT! the other end is indeed a seized...

is clutch 'in' or 'out' as I have similar problem which appears to be a jammed motor.

the best starting point is to use the pressure given for the standard ones then adjust +/- 2psi and see if it feels better or worse for your driving. Remember to load the car as you use it most often (many drivers go around alone for 90% of the time but set up the pressures for a fully loaded...
