hi all does anyone know where i can get a driver my usb 2.0 to serial so can get my laptop wired to hopefully sort out the eas have downloaded a few now with no joy i got the cable and software from www.talktomycar.co.uk if you want to see the cable i have really need to get this sorted asap so...

was just asking as wondered if there were any power gains more than anything but as not really not worth doing.Also as mentioned earlier just more to rot and cost money but do think it looks better but not enough to warrent the work to fit it but thanks for all the replys/opinions anyone...

can you fit a twin rear box exhaust from a later car to a 1996 car with only one rear box if so how hard and is there any benefit other than it looking better imo you comments are welcome thanks

ok will do this when you say check the coil packs in what way do you mean check them just visualy or can you do some sort of test?other than checking there working to see if there functioning to there max potential?

hi all have got it sorted now thanks for all the help and just for future referance i sorted the lock but let me input the code with the driver front window not being set so if anyone has the same problem maybe still worht giving it a go anyway but thanks again for all the help its much appreciated

ok people will try this and keep you informed how i get on dont know if it makes a diff but the rear doors will not unlock maually or from unlocking from the drivers key so will this also stop me entering the code they seem to be superlocked they did work previous to changing the battery

also just been looking through on here and noticed in one it says that all windows need to be set etc my drivers windows has also never been set and judders when gets to the top so i take it this will also affect it how does it know when the windows are set and also any ideas on a fix for the...

hi people have been and got the code but when i put it in via the door lock stil nothing happens the only thing that i can think of is that the door does not lock from the key and has not done since i got it but did not bother me as used the fob could this be why the code is not being...

will give these a try in the morning if not down to the dealer first thing monday i guess

what model did you do this on ?

yeah used 2 batterys and fob light comes on as normal so no probs there and yes its a 1998 p38 dse and when get in car and turn key just says press fob or enter code ?

hi all my mum asked me to change the battery in key fob and said you had a min to do it so the fob stayed sync to car done it in about 25 sec but wont unlock car and can not start either i dont have the unlock code is there any other way i can get it going or do i just have to wait for landrover...

my mum has a 2.5dse and one of the oil cooler pipes is leaking have not had time to have a good look are both pipes the same or do they have different conections on as also does anyone know a part number so can ring and order one or can anyone recomend somewhere cheaper than dealer?? thanks
