Yeah 8 Yrs is pretty good I'd say.. I am guessing it would be the OLD style gasket that would have been fitted back then...but saying that it also had some stretch bolts fitted at the same time. so I am guessing they would have been done as standard refitted another gasket in them days ..!! I...

Since I have brought the Hippo I have been finding little faults as you would expect from old freelander.. One annoying one for me is the sunroof..it will retract fine.. but bringing it back into its rightfull place is a NO NO .. it clicks like mad.. i have to get out of the car and get the wife...

I am hoping the MLG has since been improved since then.. But yes I will be making a effort to keep a check on levels once it's been done.. Even thou..it has issues ..I do love it it may only be a freelander.. I can now say I am a around owner of a landy.. lol
