thinking of swaping the 200 tdi's dash as I do a lot of cold night driving and need to be able to see my dials properly have have heat! I have the parts from a donor vehicle already. Is it possible? Anyone done it? Are there any serious issues to overcome, or shall i go for a strip & refit?

Hi All Just acquired a 200tdi 3dr disco and going to do a service. Other than engine oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air cleaner, is there anything else I should do. What's the correct engine oil to use? I dont know the history of the vehicle and have no handbook (hence rudimentary questions)...
