well it's managed to be arse about face somehow if both the switch and the battery reset are working in reverse. Is it possible to reverse the electrics?

No winch, no CB (although I may pick up a handheld). On the recovery side I've got a 6 metre strap (3tonne?) and a shackle, a tow bar and the original towing eye at the front.

Is there any way of testing the ABS other than giving it plenty of right foot and then stamping on the brakes?

I had the same problem with Windows 7. I installed Vmware, created an XP virtual machine and installed microcat on that.

I've got a copy from Ebay that says it's version V020 - 1 which covers KV6 NAS.

I have read the above and downloaded the file. That version appears to have been produced in 2002 so it's highly unlikely to contain anything specific to MY2004. :doh: As I said in my post, I've got a copy of Rave that covers NAS (North American Spec?) MY2004 and wondered if it existed for UK...

Does anybody have a disc that covers the 2004 Freelander? I bought a disc from fleabay but it only seems to cover export models.

Any of you happen to know the part number for the strange jubilee clip that goes at the back of the EGR? Mine fell apart when I took it off and the part that's shown in the LR parts catalogue (STC4549) doesn't look right.

Any chance of a totally inexperienced gaylander tagging along? (At the rear of course ;) and no puddles, I don't want me doors falling off)
