Not sure if I'm imagining it but I'm nearly 100% certain my disco 300 tdi runs better on a full tank compared to a quarter full one or less , just seems to have more go with loaded tank? Maybe I'm imagining it but also wondering if it could be a symptom of fuel pump going or something else ...

Well the new to me disco is running sweet as a nut now thanks to this forum after replacing all sorts and cleaning things up , its looking great as Iv polished it and I had the rear arches all welding up nice and the sills patched up but now think I need to sort out the wobblyness alittle by...

I'm looking at ordering a window tint kit from flea bay but they only list them for the 99 discoverys onwards will it still fit a 96 or are there differences guys Cheers

I had my eggsauce mani off last weekend and the bolt was a pain in the arse , I had to go though my spanners till I found one that was right shape to fit it was a ring spanner with a slight bend to it ,only had a slight bit if movement but it was enough to slowly turn it out took ages :-)

Anybody know what size the turbo to ic pipe elbow is on a d1 300 tdi , I'm going to order a silicone jobbie from the bay as mine feels very soft

Well my inlet/exhaust manifold gasket arrived this morning as I noticed when I removed the inlet last time the gasket was split in fact it came off in three pieces , fitted the new one on and took it for a drive and noticed improvement instantly thou the whole rev range great result Cheers...

:) if only it was that simple , I'm not keen on doing anything like that until I understand how things work fully and I can measure the egt and boost pressure

Thanks for the reply , I don't see the lack of smoke as a issue just wondering why most Iv seen kick out a good bit of black smoke under load but thanks anyhow

Iv Cut and used 3 strips of the excess rubber instead of the whole length and it's fitted into the channel nicely for now all working as it should , fingers crossed I can put the door card back on in a couple of days once I know it's sorted for good

Hi bud , Iv been trying to ease it in with lube like a gentleman but it's being stubborn as arseholes Iv also tryed using the motors power to push it all together but it's not working yet , I'll go fetch the BIG hammer soon
