Freelander 1 Do rear diffs rumble?

Hi, I have a new to me k series and I'm doing the same to debug a clunking noise. Replaced the diff mounts which seemed fine with a little bit of play. Lot tighter now and the clunking is less but still there. After diff mounts were replaced I took this video. Maybe something is similar to yours...

    2001 1.8 clutch prob

Gotcha, the system is hanging from ceiling with slave fully pressed in a few days. Was hoping it was green clutch hydraulic oil. Will leave it be then. Dcunningham, you mind saying who the supplier is? I went bearmach but wondering if I should just go oem.

Any idea what the green clutch fuid is? I'd like to refill and bleed the air while I wait for a new system?

    2001 1.8 clutch prob

Only had the car a few weeks. Did the clutch hydraulics today. Full system and bracket from bearmac. I picked bearmach as I read their quality was good. First.... I was fiddling for ages trying to get the master back in and I started noticing some fluid weeping as the master was turned 90'...

    I need help!

Also it's been dry and hot last few days and I've been hearing the clanking. Today it's colder and been raining and the roads are wet. I drove it around 2 hours around 30mph to 50mph and no clanking or noise at all. Even with hard accelerator action and heavy reving between gear changes. Would a...

Targa-roof applies to the removable sunroof panels apparantly, not the hardback, only learned about it recently when I was looking for the hardback. Not all hardbacks had the targa roof.

    I need help!

Thanks guys. That's my day sorted doing these tasks and tests. Even if broke I'd like to keep it 4x4 as I bought it cheap, I'm totally ok with building it up with quality parts and keeping it a long time. I've ordered 4 general grabber at and I'm just looking at ordering the diff mounts. There...

Hi Guys, I've recently sold my series 3 109 and bought a 2004 Disco HSE TD5 to travel around a bit with the family. I am hoping to spend the next year getting it in a reasonable state for a 2 week trip to North Africa. I'm going to post some updates in this thread on the progress and my first...

    Help with springs.

Yep, I was origionally thinking parabolics but was dissuaded on another forum... we thought good springs would work. I thought bearmach would have been the best! Any idea where I can get genuine springs? I'm just googling for them now. Rocky para's were what I was origionally considering...

    Help with springs.

Hi Guys, I bought a really great 109 safari CSW during the summer with newish springs on the back (5 years old allmakes). They looked a little sagged so I replaced them recently with bearmach springs. When I put on the bearmachs it made no difference what so ever and still looks sagged...
