Morning all. Just when i thought me luck couldnt get any better got in Betsy this morning drove 100 yards down the road hears a clunk then realise iv now got rear wheel steering! Looked underneath her me trailing arm on drivers side has sheared off not the axle end the other-any ideas on wheres...

I just got hold of 2 mini bus seats with seatbelts integrated then put them in rearwards facing. Iv got twins so they go in the back and as their fitted close up to the bulkhead plenty room still for their double buggy. I will try put some pics up if anyones interested. Pete:D

Morning all and HELP!! Been under Betsy this mornin lookin to fit some chequer plate sills but the piece they bolt too is too far gone whats the name of this piece? Iv bloody searched fer ages and keep coming up with rock sliders but i need the piece that you fit sills or rock sliders to or...

Yeah James i see what you mean but i would have thought the fact i had shown one shop the actual old nut and told the online place the spanner size i may have gotten lucky. As it is i now have 16 nuts none of which are in the correct size!

9/16 are what i took off the guy in the shop had ordered 3/8

Anyone remember me on about fitting a new prop t"other week? Well ordered a new prop off ebay came without nuts(9/16) so set about trying to get some from local shop and thats where fun began... Landys been off the road ie parked up for close on 2 weeks cos no one stocks these nuts or TWICE...

Gents cheers for all your replies and help im gonna get a full prop set and try that.Took Betsy along to couple of garages nearby who wont touch Defenders they said and the only one that will want £200 for supplying and fitting not including VAT-im thinking thats pretty steep so will have a go...
