    Tyres - marix panther

Id looked at Panther last year but managed to get a pair of Kumho kl71 for £180 pair fitted. Got some Greenway remoulds on the rear which are wearing a lot quicker than the Kumhos to be honest but its your cash.

    Rust protection durability

Id say its more likely be tossers concerned about the environment as theres an old fella near me drives round in an old Tr5 who swears by old engine oil. When i scraped off the old Waxoyl off mine you could see underneath it had rusted quicker.:(

    Rust protection durability

Iv given over with Waxoyl iv found the rust can get behind it then the process only speeds up. All my oil after oil changes gets mixed with Lith grease and daubed all over the underside regularly. For box sections i heat it or thin it a little and use a garden sprayer.

    Crossmember

Ideal world James yeah definitely but as with most people now cash is tight. No chance of new chassis just hoping it can be plated if theres any good metal left! One things for sure wont be applying Waxoyl to it like previous owners that stuff has speeded up the rot.:(
