Gear box has got plenty of oil transfer box was low on oil.!!!

checking the oil does not bother me but whilst i am under if their is something else on the gearbox i can check at the same time i will!!!

I take it you are not going to say why low oil would result in the vibration and noise? I suppose you can always phone the garage where you take yours to to ask why low oil would result in the problem?

Hi all Can any one help? I have got a R380 short shaft gearbox in my 90 that doe not like 5th gear when driving about 55 - 60 mph. I gain a droning noise and vibration but after 60 it goes. If you depress the clutch at that speed the symptoms go? any ideas? Cheers James

Money is a issue as I have just got it MOT'd after a full re-build so i broke so ether i re-build my existing prop or if i can afford it put a wide yoke or a second hand double if i can find one

Hi all Does any one know what is the best prop shaft for my 90? I have got a 2" lift and thinking of being able to dislocating at some point. This is linked with my earlier question regarding UJ's

Have stripped the prop down now. Will take the offending item to craddocks and match it up. took the UJ to local car spares and halfords to day the spotty faced youths behind the counters did not even know what it was. What is the world coming too.

it is a 1986. Slight modification though i should have said. I have put a new chassis on it and fitted a td5 chassis with a rear fuel tank with a 300tdi disco sender unit in it.

Evening all My fuel gauge has decided to become wiled and out of control.... the tank is half full and will read half full then all of a sudden it will wonder up and down the dial then go back at its original position. Any ideas
