My L322 needs a caliper, it also has BMW stamped on it so I checked the price difference, one for the RR is £100 and one for an X5 is £66, will the one from the X5 fit straight on? if so what other parts on the RR come from the X5? Thanks

I had the same problem battery would be flat after two weeks, turned out my Sat Nav unit and head light wiper motors were to blame, now after 6 weeks it starts first time

Hi all, Now ive bought belts for the D2 before but a long time ago.....and cant remember which one I went for. I have No AC No ACE BUT...there's and idler fitted to where the ACE pump would have went.....so does this mean I need a No AC, Yes ACE belt? I cant remember Thanks

now I read about this before I bought my td5 and its quite a common problem on the older ones, LR replaced the bolts on the later ones with yellow locktite, ill hunt down the link but it was way over a year ago I read it

ahhh got you! I think ill just un plug the connector to the motors and see how it goes. Would be good if someone could post up the wiring diagram for fuse 28 from Rave then ill get a better understanding and see if the same fuse does both the washers and wipers

yeah that's what im thinking, ill maybe remove the wipers? after all if they're not there they cant be tested? is it still that attitude now adays?

I don't think wipers are required for the MOT I think its just the spray? so im going to un plug the motors and then put the fuse in so the spray still works and that should be enough I think?

yeah I suppose I could, I'm thinking as long as the washer system sprays on the lights it should pass even if the wipers don't function?

How have guys dealt with pulling the fuse for the head lamp cleaning system for the MOT? or have you all fixed the problem etc?

keep us posted on how you get on with the non return valves, would be good to know if it works. Whats the problem with the cam chain tensioner? is it a bolt off bolt on idea?
