Will standard mud flaps fit on a light weight??????

what is better a defender or a series 2, 3 as the series is cheaper to run. + wots the most fun off road??

I had a P38 they are sh*t, i had a 4.6 hse LPG and had nothing but problems, firstly on the way home from where i bought it all the electrics failed, few weeks l8er the engine had lost all power and had to have it replaced which cost £4000, about a month later the LPG tank had burst/Fu***d up...
