They bullets. All worked fine on the old switch before I pulled the box, but like I said new switch is working a treat anyway. I've cut the bulb holder of and stripped wires back, still nothing when touched to the bulb. I'm wondering now if it's a resistance between the switch and the bulkhead...

Most gauges require a 52mm diameter hole to be cut, plus youl need to factor in a tiny bit each side for the surround. Measure it up or try a standard defender gauge for size. They also 52mm

What do you use when refitting the seat boxes and floor plates? Do you buy the proper sealing tape stuff or use a bonding sealer from a tube?

I've also heard of using a 300tdi pedal and spring, it's reported to lighten things up a lot.

I've jut posted pretty much the same question! The top rad hoses from def to disco are different part numbers too which might just explain why my engines looking so close to the rad after the conversion. I'm hoping someone's gonna say that the engine sits slightly closer in a defender than it...

I hadn't realized until tonight that the top water hoses from 300 disco to 300 def were different part numbers, as is the top intercooler hose? Can anyone shed any light on why?

10 minute job to convert a disco box with Ashcroft kit. Done it last week on mine.
