    Fab News and another question!!

My car is up off the bumpstops! Hoo-blimmin-ray! We fitted new arnott airbags over the weekend and at the same time realised that the rear right sensor had failed. New one arrived today (Huge thumbs up for Island 4x4 who managed to deliver the new part less than 24 hours after I ordered it!)...

Replacing rear air springs on a P38

You'll be fine with a stanley knife - particularly if they are worn and the rubber is starting to break down. Ours were plastic (we changed them last weekend) and were a nightmare to get out - they seemed to have 'welded' themselves in! a crowbar helped convince them that they really wanted to...

failed suspension ( is it drivable)

Right then! - It's home......and all is it not as it seemed..

Thanks Dave :D No probs! I'm going to speak to your chap tomorrow about getting a lead - I'd love my iphone to connect to my stereo (saves me having to listen to dross on the radio!)

Right then! - It's home......and all is it not as it seemed..

Hi Keith - I know but it would have cost around £200. I picked up 4 immaculate hurricanes with 2 good tyres for £100 :) Husband has a mate with a tyre machine 'thing' who swapped them for nothing as he owed us a favour :D Mike - How did you go about getting Clarion to service your head? :p...

Change your P38 harmon Kardon hifi

Hi Mike - How did you go about arranging that? Did you just call them and ask?...
  10. Andrealouisea

failed suspension ( is it drivable)

I wouldnt - Ours was down on its bumps when we bought it. Even driving it down a cul de sac to load it on to the trailer was a horrible experience. We did debate driving it home initially, but after that 1/4 mile I was very thankful that we'd opted for the trailer.......

New wheels because some idiot had hand painted the ones that were on there :shakesheadindisbelief: New airbags are on, but rear right ride height sensor has gone so new one in the post. Bikini photos to follow..........one day! Dave - have had a look at your thread - Thanks :) Fett - You'll...

Right then! - It's home......and all is it not as it seemed..

:pJeez - I go off for a couple of hours and look what my thread has deteriorated in to :p As a matter of fact I do have a bikini, several in fact, though I never tend to wear them when there is a camera around :D Maybe one day I will post a photo, till then you'll all just have to use your...

    Radio Niggle

Hiya, thanks for the advice. The LCD display glows green but nothing else (either ---- or numbers) shows up. Steve has hit the nail on the head. Is the radio knackered or are we missing a wire somewhere? It looks as if there has been some creative wiring done at some point behind the radio

    Radio Niggle

Its the original stereo (Both of them) Just realised that I'm a little confusing! I mean that both of the stereos we've tried are originals!!

    Radio Niggle

Me again I'm afraid!! Got a little niggle with the radio on the P38. It lights up but the screen is blank. Nowhere to input the code and no sound. Any thoughts? is the radio f......knackered? Have tried the original one and a spare that my husband had knocking about and the same response on...
