It could be one of many things. Get your lead and your EAS software and see if you can get the pump to operate using that. Then come and report back. Datatek is an EAS guru, We've just sorted ours - It's a question of being methodical and testing one thing at a time

If you are going to replace spend a little more and go for Gen II Arnotts from P38 Spares. They come with a lifetime warranty :D They are simple to change - Nothing complex, just require a little encouragement with a crowbar to part company from their housings :) It would be worth searching out...
