Thanks all :D Especially to SV8 for the comprehensive CC instructions :D Much appreciated! It's been a hell of a project but we are chuffed with it now (although it just cost me £106 to fill it up and that was WITH a 10p off every litre voucher from Tesco!!) I dont think I'll be going too far...

new guy with a p38. yes, it has problems

It could be one of many things. Get your lead and your EAS software and see if you can get the pump to operate using that. Then come and report back. Datatek is an EAS guru, We've just sorted ours - It's a question of being methodical and testing one thing at a time
  7. Andrealouisea

    Bought one today :)

Enjoy it :D Have fun and make the most of the forecast snow!!

    Once Upon A Time........

There was a young lady with a Discovery. She had a real hankering for a P38 though so she could tow her horse trailer in style!! I bought a P38 with no tax or MOT for not much money. It had air suspension problems and had been off the road for 18 months. Fast forward 3 weeks and it's had...

    p38 eas

If you are going to replace spend a little more and go for Gen II Arnotts from P38 Spares. They come with a lifetime warranty :D They are simple to change - Nothing complex, just require a little encouragement with a crowbar to part company from their housings :) It would be worth searching out...

    p38 eas

Echo Datatek - the airbags look OK whilst they are on the car, it's only once they are removed you realised how badly perished they really are....

    p38 eas

Hi Scott, Welcome to LZ :D We have just overcome the same problem. Fitted new airbags (ours were shagged) but the problem remained. Ours turned out to be a bad earth on the valve block driver - the bolts were terribly corroded. A quick clean up and its running like a dream :) There are lots of...

    Back again!!

I'm back here again :) Just thought I'd share the last weeks fun :D Airbags were changed as I've already said. Then we had problems with the pump not cutting in when it should. We could bridge the relay or use the EAS unlock software and it would run perfectly, it was just as if the car...

Hello - Site (and RR) Newbie with P38 problems!

Welcome to LZ :) Sounds like lots of little niggles - general wear and tear really. We've just changed the airbags on mine - The rears looked, and were shagged, The fronts looked ok, but once we got them off it was clear that they were just as shagged as the rear. What I'm trying to say I...

    Fab News and another question!!

Thanks All. ZZR and V8HRB - Thanks for the links :D Doug. They seem to be good - we are pleased that we went for them, despite the fact that they are marginally more expensive. We couldnt find them anywhere cheaper, I believe that P38-Spares are the UK importers so to that end no one else can...
