nice idea, the thing is i want a wheel with a thicker rim, with the skinny rim of the series wheel you grip it tightly and wrap your thumbs around it, catch a rut wrong, the wheel whips round and it could be a broken thumb. :(

hi, had a day off roading today with the north east 4x4 club, had a good day but i,m having a bit of bother holding on to my steering wheel. Its the standard series 3 wheel and its just to thin, anyone tell me what other landy wheel will fit and also look at home, dont want anything too modern...
Got a 200 di in my 88 s3, starts better, runs better, drives better. I dont do lots of miles but i,m getting better mpg, it just make,s it better to drive, not a rocket ship, drum brakes and cart springs arnt ideal for flying around !.the only thing i,m not keen on is loosing the valve for the...
just set them both straight ahead, like i said, i was just getting it near so i could drive it to be done properly, thing is if there,s something else wrong i,de best get it all sorted before i get it set properly :confused:

Hi, got a bit of a prob with my swb s111, the front tyre,s are wearing the outside edge away. I thought it was tracking, then i found i had a t/r/end with play in it so i replaced them both. I set my tracking by eye, ready to take it to my local tyre spot, but when i looked at my landy head on...
I used defender mounting rubbers on my s111 brackets, i was lead to believe the 2oo engine would vibrate more than my old lump, i havnt noticed any more. I think you can use the disco mount,s but its not a bolt on job, hope this helps:)

Well i couldnt decide myself, i thought about leaving the turbo on and turning the wick down a bit, but thought once i was used to it i would just turn it back up.A lot of told me to just take it easy on the loud pedal but i had thoughts of pulling out onto a busy roundabout, give it some beans...
yes i,m using the standard s111 diesel diffs and axles. i have overdrive fitted, i only finished ir at 8.30 so havnt drove verry far yet but on the hill up to where we live my old smoker struggled to reach 30 mph without lots of gear changing and a fair bit of smoke, driving up ther tonite i...

had a cavalier do the same years ago(rear brakes obviosly !), i changed all the hold down and return springs, sorted the job out, dont no if its the cause but it would be my first place to look,

Ive got a s111 diesel, its slow, noisey, slow, thirsty, slow, cold, slow, bumpy and err slow, love it to bits tho, cant stop the stupid grin taking over my face everytime i get in it. Just get one, life,s just to short , go for it:):):):p

i,m 4kin sick of getting dripped on, jump in my landy, do a couple of miles and then it starts, wetter than an otters pocket. Me mates go loads of left over carpet from his gym and says i can have what i want, thinking of sticking it to my roof, any thoughts, good/bad idea, evo...
Do they do a product like schutz/waxoil or is it just a paint, i,d prefer something a bit thicker to go inside my chassis, or am i being a tit ?:p
