Need some help with a gearbox problem, I need to know if anyone has ever tried to fit a 1980 110 gear box into a 1996 110. Gearbox in 1996 110 is knackered however I have the older gearbox which I know never done many miles. But what I dont know is if it is any different.
Ive had the same problem, Like the idiot that I am i told the garage to put a new one in which was around £100. when i got a look at the old one a spot weld had come apart, which I could have welded up in two minutes. What a Numpty.
I was at at a compny the other day and they were manufacturing equipment to manufacture the seats and they said that the seats are based on the transit seat.
Cheers Ada, Sorry about your back window, wondered why my ears where burning, hope you can sort it without much trouble or cost. Photos are spot on, they have made a very good job of the roof, hope mine looks as good when im done. thanks again.
Hi adafih, could you photograph the rear bulkhead from inside and out also the roof section at the rear inside and out, would be much appreciated you could email them to me at paul@dynamic-automation.co.uk cheers.
Adafish thats exactly what im after looks excellent, do you not fancy swapping so you can have the experience of building one, wouldnt mind some photos to keep me on the right track cause once i get started taking bits off it may have to be a pick up.

Is the holes and everything there to fit the bulk head to or do you have to make up brackets and have you altered a station wagon into a double cab?
had a 110 Hi cap pick up now for about a year i am going to attempt to change it into double cab using a 110 station wagon body. Has anyone heard of this being done or better still has anyone ever done it who knows what could happen once i get the angle grinder out.
Hi adafish sorry cant help you with the trim for your double cab just wondering have you built this double cab yourself cause im thinking of changing my 110 hi cap wondering if you could give me any pointers.
