What do you mean by bungs? Also in reference to your first post when you say turbo feed and drain are blocked for n/a uses, or am I just being dense. Lastly, as I intend to build, not recondition an engine would you rather build a n/a or a turbo, I personally don't know which is better.

Is anyone aware if a cylinder head from a 2.5l petrol will be compatible with the 2.5l diesel n/a? Also if so would it be wiser to buy a Land Rover genuine part for a component this important or would Britpart be alright?

What should the oil pressure be when idling if I stick a testing gauge. on old faithful? Also does anyone know what size socket will fit on the crankshaft pulley bolt, am away from landy so can't check myself. How hard is the engine to turn on the pulley bolt?

My 12j starts in todays cold weather after 45ish seconds on the glow plugs, however if I crank it after say 20 seconds it does start but for a few moments the engine shudders horrifically and the whole car rocks before it runs normally. Its not much of an issue as it does start if I wait but is...
