    Use a butyl mastic i.e. Sicaflex, tougher and more adhesive than silicone. A decent car bodywork or paint shop will sell it or an equivalent.

    Noisey Gearbox V8 with a SIII gearbox.

    'cos by that time your deafened by the body rattles, wind & road noise :D Not really :D The gearbox has reduced the ratio of engine rev's to wheel rotations. Lower engine revs= lower clutch & thrust brg revs.
