Pin hole leak in fuel tank

My soldering skills are nil so I think I will attempt the steel epoxy method.

Pin hole leak in fuel tank

I had a diesel fuel leak so I pulled the tank and discovered a very small pin hole in the forward top portion of the tank. It looks like someone drove a screw into it and the tip of the screw just barely penetrated the tank. There are no other leaks in the tank and the internals and outside...

Santana Anibal wheels same as wolf wheels?

Anybody know if the wheels that come on the Santana Anibal are the same as Wolf Wheels? I came across some at a salvage yard but did not have the time to check them out closely. I'm wondering if they would fit an older 1991 Defender 90.

    Dash part replacement

What your describing as just the "End Piece" is part number MTC 2808 shown on the parts breakdown above as item 1. The picture you uploaded clearly shows that part as broken. As others have posted, if you want somthing a little more robust, go with the Raptor Engineering replacement.

    Dash part replacement

The part you need is MTC2808 (cowl) its the plastic part that your instrument panel mounts to. It breaks easily because its plastic. I just replaced mine with one I got from a salvage yard.

Seat Riser rails and headrest removal?

To remove the headrest you need to remove a metal detent that is inside the stem. In order to get to that detent you will need to partially disassemble the back of the seat to reach it.

    Defender 90 Seat Covers

I bought the Mud UK Leafseat covers. Unfortunately, I'm not that happy with them. For the price they are not that well made and have multiple fitment issues.

LT77 Gearbox Oil - Red and Watery?

I tried everywhere looking for Dex II/III...no luck. There is lots of talk online about some of the newer ATFs not being compatible due to possible damage to seals, but again nothing definitive. That's why I decided to ask the experts. The Dex IV has been working great in my LT77.

LT77 Gearbox Oil - Red and Watery?

I did quite a bit of research on the different Landrover forums before I changed out the fluids in my LT77. After much searching with no definitive answer, I decided to check with the experts....Ashcroft Transmissions. They say use ATF Dexron II or III. Since I am unable to get either in my...

    defender doors

Did you recently replace your door seals? I had the same problem with one of my doors after replacing the seal with a new one from ****part. The seal would not allow the door to close completely and also played hell with the locking mechanism. Only way I could fix it was to put the old seal...

    Defender seat headrest removal

Realize this post is almost 6 years old, but just wanted to add that SPUTNIX is spot on with how to remove the head rest. I searched everywhere and pretty much everything I came across suggested beating the hell out of the headrest till it came off. That method does not work so well. I...

    Seal part number

Seal Front Door Bottom 90/110 to LA 1994 #MWC6130 This is the seal that attaches to the lower portion of the body (not door) via rivets in order to provide a seal between the body frame and lower portion of the door. I know this because I just replace them on my 1991 Defender 90.
