This is what the mechanic had to do for me in a round about way. He welded a slide hammer to the top of the injector. Photos would be really useful incase I need to change another one outside of warranty. Thanks

You need to: Remove the prop (easiest as one unit) at both ends and remove from the car Remove the two short props from each end of the VCU Remove and replace the bearings Replace Have a big hammer ready! Should have it done in 60-90 minutes

Driving along yesterday, heard this crack type noise like a windscreen being chipped. The Mrs noticed that the clip fastening the roof on was wobbling. Pulled over and checked it and the spring to hold the red button in place has snapped. Anyone else had this?

Is it a hard job to remove the injectors as the garage that are changing mine under warranty are saying they normally break on removal and its taking them ages to change one - I'm beginning to smell a rat to be honest!

If the reverse light switch "switches to earth" check that the cable isn't frayed and is shorting out to earth between the lights and the switch
