Looks like most of the kits only have the 90 deg elbow and the intercooler to manifold, not the turbo to intercooler????

Are there not 3 pipes? 1 to the intercooler, 1 from the intercooler and 1 small elbow to the EGR valve? All the silicon kits only have 2

Running in 2wd and would love to but funds are tight!

On a Golf TDi I had I drained the oil, then refilled with a gallon of parafin, left in overnight (without starting!!!), drained parafin then filled with engine oil. Parafin came out absolutely black!

Hi Had someone reving the engine at the weekend while I was under the bonnet. The intercooler hose going to the inlet manifold (the longer one, not the shorter elbow) was "ballooning" slightly as the revs came up. Should I change them or is this normal? If they need to be changed some...

MIL has come on but goes back off again when ignition is turned off then back on again. Happens about once a week but more frequently the higher the dial is set on the Synergy 2 Set on number 8 it came on 3 times in 10 minutes and goes into limp home mode, struggling to rev above 2000 rpm...

Whats the mileage on it now Oldskool? Is it a TD5?

Just changed mine and managed to get them out using a T25 (6 sided) on a slight sideways slant - changed them for posi drives

Just a sideline query, why is there two inlet ports for each cylinder from the manifold to the head?

Drill a small hole either side of the scratch and solder a wire past the break? Where are you located as I'm an auto electrician and could have a look? Thanks Mark.
