So had the 3 amigos pop up again recently. The code was for the shuttle valve switch so option b was in order. A new wabco switch was ordered which I modified ready for the swap. Old stock switch with the new option b modified switch. Wedged up to gain access. New earth location...

As mines a facelift the indicators are in the tail lights. I bought the plugs and made up some looms myself. Then just added an orange bulb in what was the reverse light. My bumper lights are untouched.

Today I changed the rotton rear mudflap brackets. Very messy job :cry: Found out I had limited access with the drill and some of the rivets are made from a very tough steel. Anyway managed to get them both off which revealed some rust. So I cleaned it all up with a wire wheel, used rust...

So I had slight vibration when braking so I've installed new front discs and pads. Febi Bilstein coated discs and Ferodo premium pads. Upon removal I discovered one of my sliders was seized solid! Couldn't move it until I got some heat on it. All stripped cleaned and greased.

It's currently in the dining room awaiting re covering. I'm not ready for that yet so popped in the plastics to make it a bit nicer till then.

Finished soundproofing/insulating the roof. Its already been sound deadened so I added a layer of this on top.

So I've spent the last day and a half detailing the landy. Wash, dry, clay bar, machine polish (removed at least 90% of the scratches/imperfections), sealed the paint with fusso, plastics treated, glass cleaned, interior cleaned, removed the rear GB badge and to finish it off new number plates...

The final door frame is complete along with sound deadening the door.
