just to poke my nose in,i have been led to believe that the td4 has 3 fuel pumps 1 hp the engine end and 2 at the rear .the wheel arch one and another in the tank.also norbet has a good point with checking out the fuel pressure regulator. tim.

hi harold, yes i do find the scorpions fitted to my freelander 5 door sw more noisy than the bridestones that iv got on my commercial td4. in last winters snow ,cant say that i noticed any difference in traction, both brilliant.hope this helps. tim.

i can assure you thay are land rover wheels as i have seen the same on other 15 inch alloys on freelanders. also iv owned my freelander from new. hope this helps.tim

hi dave,if i were you i would put it down to experience and sell the incorrect wheels for as much as you can, may be what you paid for them. buy the right type, dont forget you con still sell your existing wheels,good luck tim

hi steve, is the alternator charging when the red light is on? if it is the i would not be to worried it would be a fault with the diode in the alternator,i think. i had a similar problem on a ford escort,drove it for 2 years like it with no probs.tim.

hi larmar, just fitted towbar to my 05 td4 van.not sure about the buzzer. i got the new flasher unit for towing plugged it in after taking the other one out.it lights up the green trailer on the dash when signaling when trailer is plugged in.hope this helps tim.

thats noisy nitropaul, how many miles on the clock? sounds like a well worn engine to me.if i were you i would get it checked out. whats you cars history ? ive got a td4 with 140k it sounds nothing like yours.good luck tim

hi si,if i were you i would give the moving parts on the stalk a spray of electrical cleaner,then maybe check fuses and electrical connections or the bulbs just to be sure.tim

hi harold,just to say my td4 had d684s on 15inch alloys when i got it at six months old.they lasted 21k on the fronts.they seemed to grip ok to me in various conditions. now got pirelli scorpions on now they seem just as good just hope they last longer. tim.

hi mathilda,just to say i dont think you will find much difference in the cost of insuring a commercial to a station waggon ive got both and pay £10 more for the station waggon.allthough tax is £45 per year cheaper for the commercial.is your van taxed as a lgv? tim.

hi just noticed no mention of clutch system being bled when new slave and master cylinder were fitted,also i dont think you can adjust the freelander clutch system tim.

yes, big phil, i would have to agree with elvis 33k would be better spent on a d3. in my view a33k fl2 is a 20 k fl2 with 13ks worth of toys, sure there is some one out there who does not agree though tim.
