This is just for curiosity unless I need to do more work when I fit new discs and pads but my suspension does seem rather bouncy, is it normal because of being a capable off roader or is it because they could be kaput. I don’t think it’s excessive bounce but a quick dab of foot brake at slow...

When I bought mine six months ago I was puzzled why the switch didn’t work the motor, all sealed up. Don’t know whether to have a go at sorting or leave well alone. Can’t see any rust anywhere tho.

Why not try moving the box back a bit or the aerial forward if it’s a bendy one. Another option would be an electronic aerial that sticks to the windscreen in the passenger corner, they’re not that expensive.

Can anyone shed some light on a wiring harness I have in my Freelander1 td4ES of 2003. I’ve just become the latest owner of this old girl and loving it.....but an issue has raised it’s head. When I bought it, an aftermarket stereo was in place which was ok, until I spotted the cd multichanger...

I have a similar issue with the drivers side rear window, it works ok with the drivers window buttons, but the one in the rear door does nothing, swapped out the switch, still no worky. All the wiring is good, don’t know what else I can do.

Both of my front speakers had been working fine while I had been doing various tweaks here and there, front, back, sides and underneath, plus under the bonnet....just as I’ve got her all back together, they pack up working. Sourced a full set from my local recycle yard, checked with a 9 volt...

Can anyone help with a wiring issue on the Freelander1 td4 03 reg. I want to fit some front fogs, got the switch and fitted it into the slot, already had the socket in view so coupled that in, the relays 10 and 11 are in place in the fuse box , but where the devil might the connection be for...

Better still, use a pair of ramps. Safer than any axle stand or jack.

The work was done by a local garage well versed in Land Rover called Quattro Auto Centre.

Just had my 03 Freelander1 M47 bmw engine remapped, what a difference, from 110 to 140 and the torque has gone up by almost 30%. It’s a different vehicle altogether. Can’t say yet about mpg improvement until I get further down the tankful.
