Spoke to my mate this arvo, he seems to think the box is ok, as it was new about a year ago, but will drain the fluid just to make sure as per your suggestion. One thing he did read on the tinternet, was that some boxes have problems with Air being trapped in them? Anyone had this trouble and...

The only thing I can think of is Top end lubrication problems because Gas burns dryer than petrol, You can get lucrication kits which drip oil into your intake ( A bit like a Scott oiler on a motorbike), apparently it makes the gas burn more efficently and gives you a better consumption as well...

Hes checked the one you can see from the engine bay and it has very slight play but no clonking, is that the only one or is there another one hiding away towards the steering box?

Lol! When I was running my old 306 on a Veg Oil and Diesel mix I took it for an Mot and made the Mot'er Hungry with the smell and his mate that was doing the MOT with him feel Sick!!! :puke2:Lol!! But they did pass it and emissions were very low, so couldnt have been bad?

The only experience Ive had with zorst wrap is on Classic mini's, and yes it does take the heat away from the engine bay thus letting engine suck in cooler air and gain you a better performance (Just like drivng it on a frosty morning?), but if you mainfolds arnt made of a dam good quality...

I bunged some in my 300tdi auto the other day and it smokes more than Dot Cotton! Only put in 6 litres with about 1/4 of a tank??? My Old Pug 306 used run on it fine?? Any ideas of why it does this??
