I thought that if you lock the car with the key in the lock, manually, then that doesn't set the alarm. Maybe I'm wrong though....

GreenHornet is right about the back springs. All 7 seaters had the air suspension and had type-approval. There were no 7 seaters without air suspension. So if you have springs at the back, beware as the insurance may be invalidated. If you have air - good luck. I would think that the easiest way...

I owned a 2000 D2 and now own a 2004 D2. They all have the same chassis. The earlier one had widespread and terminal chassis rot at the back. The new(er) one is not bad.
