Mines been perfect since I picked it up, jusy started in the last couple of days.

My reverse gear has all of a sudden has gone crunchy, when trying to select. ( 1986 2.5N/A ) All my forward gears are fine. I've tried putting it in 1st, and 2nd before selecting, but doesn't make much difference. If the trucks pointing forward uphill, then it appears to select a lot...

I've just brought 2 litres of Diff Oil, is this enough to change both diffs? Also, what's the capacity of the transfer box? Thanks in advance:D

Paper filter it is then... I have used one once before in a petrol car, and thought they were crap then !!!!!! What about Difflock oils, folks are saying good things about the stuff. I'm after a good quailty 15/50 oil for my 2.5 N/A

Just looking for a thermosat, on Paddocks. There are two types for the 2.5 N/A 74 degree & 82 degree Which should I go for - it doe's say the 74 degree is optional. What's the difference? Thanks

Now that I have my new truck ( 1986 2.5n/a 90 Hard Top) I want to get around to changing oils and filters. Not having owned a Landy before. What oils need changing? Is it right that the gearbox takes automatic gear oils? Do I need to do anything to the diffs? Is it worth putting in a K&N...

errrrrrrmmmmm.... I wish I had checked the trye pressure before embarking on my journey home. Checked them yesterday... 24psi :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: No wonder the bloody steering was heavy! Now at 55psi... and the steering is as light as feather:):):):):) ( well relatively anyway)...

Well, made it back without any problems. The Landy is in really good nick. Full 12 months of MOT, and the chassis has never been welded!!! ( looked, and sounded solid) The engine is amazing dry too. There's the odd bubble on the paintwork- the sills on the drivers, and tailgate door looks...

Well ... wish me luck. I'm making my way up to Abersoch today, and all going well I'll be chugging up, and down those lovely Welsh roads, and crawling down the M5 to it's new home in Pastie Land:D. Hopfully the missus will have put plenty of beer in the fridge for my return !! Here's a pic :

Just how much ( rather lack off power) are we talking about:(? I'm not too fussed about power steering, but I will be using the the 90 every day - driving 30/40 miles aday on the Cornish county lanes mostly. Breakdown cover is sorted. :p

Hay Griffdowg, I'll be searching for greenlanes next week;). I know a great spearfishing spot near me.. loads of spider crabs, and plenty sea bass too..and if the gates are open , a short sneaky drive in the landy down to the seas edge;)
