Right then not updated for a while, been looking for a seal rebuild kit for the Bosch ve pump but i'm not having any luck :( anyone know where i can get one from? as i'd rather just replace the seal then have to replace the pump

i'll get some pics at some point, the rust isnt very bad i was just going to put some stuff on it to stop it rusting any further then replace the bits when i get a welder and a compressor

well the replacement tyres for it will set me back £357.30 the ones they destroyed were basically new as they still had the molding flecks on them i dont want to sell it but if it isnt safe outside my garage anymore then it'll be difficult to work on

well i have to try as there is no way i can afford to replace all the tyres so it's either that or i sell it off as parts to make my money back

Well extreamly ****ed off now. i rang mother who lives where my land rover is parked and she informed me thet our next door neighbour says my tyres were flat on my disco, so i've been out and had a look and all 5 tyres have been stabbed, they were practiaclly brand new tyres thats around £500...

theres my plan for the day then :D i just drillev an 8mm hole behind every light and 1 at the end and pulled all the wires through, as far as connecting them up i'm still looking at ideas as i want to have them wired into relays in the fuse box

i think my window seal has seen better days Can you get replacements?

looking at replacing the the fuel pump then, been looking on ebay and i see several different types EDC non EDC EGR non EGR Electric any ideas? i've got a 1995 300tdi did have egr but it's been disconnected and blanked off. non aircon Thanks

if i were to take the belt off wouldnt i need a tool to get the crank pully off?

i think it's coming through that shaft imo :( just going to have to get a new pump then try and fix the old one up and sell it on, the tools needed for this job so i don't have to take the timing belt off look expensive tho

according to haynes it's a filler cap for refilling the system, they say that you refill the system through that plug untill coolent flows out without any air bubbles then cap it off and top up using the expansion tank

well i got it shifted today and it runs quite well have a bit of a problem where i can't get the filler cap off of the thermostat housing but i suppose i'll hafta drill that out and it looks like i'm going to have to replace the injection pump as it leaks quite a bit...

so i got the landy started today and whilst trying to bleed the coolent system i noticed a leak on the fuel pump, hopefully you can see it in the vid. it's not coming out of any pipes that i can see it looks like it's coming out of what i think is the throttle butterfly Help please

there are two of them that go behind the engine towards the gearbox, i just assumed that gearbox breathers were an aftermarket thing :biggrin1:

well everything engine wise is pretty much back together now :) somehow 2 bolts for the intake have vanished somewhere O.o gonna bleed the coolent through tomorrow and see if i can get the bolts for the mani and then i can move it again :D anyone know what this pipe is for? its the little...

lol yeah i'll get them all lined up one night after i've got it running
