when i had my 200tdi engine put in, the mechanic said he put brand new clutch in, he showed the bite point when i picked her up and it was at the bottom, but now it up near the top after only driving it a cpl of months? is this normal and need adjustment or have i been sold another donkey :confused:

anybody bought a swingaway from these? just curious to know if any good or not?

Rite have studied ticking noise and this is low down.. it does it when staionary with accelerator down, it does it when goin along with accelerator down or off, it stops if put clutch in and accelerator off goin along road, any ideas now?? Could this stil be hgf?

good point :doh: no its wierd cause when staionary it does it when i push the accelerator, but it also does it when i am going along the road and ease off on the accelerator it carrys on doin it??

have put hand round by bulkhead and feel nothing, doesnt smoke, no loss of oil or water that i can make out, or if i am it slow as aint ad coolant filled up long,only bout a week, as changed sender. also the ticking seems to stay same speed and carrys on when ease off on the pedal??? what about...

is it worth getting compression test done bust?

i had 200tdi engine of him and paid 600 quid and it looking like maybe a crap un :( not sure what to do as dont really think will get money back now! his dad hangs round down there and ive bin told a few people have slung eddy about!!

how can i test for it with out taking aprt bud? there is no oil leaks anywhere or would i get puff of air or summet?

i have mention this before but didint get to much input and i have also done research on here, and found that ticking noise is symptom of head gasket which worrys me as im coming to end of 3mnth warranty garage gave me when done conversion. what can i do to check if it is the head gasket with...

you have any other symptoms at all as i just had conversion done by a garage and i can also hear a ticking noise cming from bulkhead end :(

is 19j turbo and what i got what was engine not ancilliaries for 600 and yes i was robbed lol
