To update - that kit won't fit my seats (D1 ES premium seats) as the way the seat is constructed means that the pads would need several cutouts to fit round the hog rings holding down the seat cover (as the standard heated element does). I am returning mine and will just have to live without them.

I viewed a T reg one when looking for mine. I would imagine it was just not registered for a while after being built. Oh also, it was a 'Safari' - so I wonder if that was one of the last models they produced to get rid of the stock to make way for the TD5's.

I hadn't seen these seats until I spotted them on eBay. I think they were only fitted to the ES premium which was produced very late on (1998 or so). But could be wrong there. The contrasting piping adds a touch of Range Rover I think ;)
