It's nice to see people taking up electric cars. Personally I don't have a need for one as I do a lot of motorway and country roads but I do like the idea of quiet motoring. The Leaf is much cheaper than I realised - I bet if (like yourself) you do a lot of city driving - particularly London...

Why didn't I think of that - ever since I had the windscreen replaced on my Golf it's been covered in some weird film of something that makes the wipers leave trails after them. I've got a meguiars clay bar waiting in the garage :D

It's some sort of sealant, warm them carefully and they'll come apart. You can seal them back up with silicone. You can't use primer unless it's black as it shows through the glass! I used black aerosol inside and black Hammerite on the outside (round the outer rim) No issues in 6...

I may have done this :lol: Split my 300 lights and painted. Would have been easier to get TD5 ones though.
