Try getting some aero ones. IMO they're much better as they will not drag or smear. I also prefer the look, I have Bosch Aerotwins on mine.

I think they changed the pulley on later discos. I had a look last night as I'm buying a new aux belt. There are two lengths of belt listed for the two pulleys. I think it was done to improve charging. Don't quote me on that!

It's easier if they have running boards, but you do need to lift yourself up to get in. The seats are pretty flat so you can sort of slide in and out!

You could try swapping the yellow and red wire over in the wiring of the aftermarket radio - they will probably have quick swap connectors on. This is a common cause of aftermarket radios not saving stations etc. The fact that your clock is also doing this makes me think perhaps it's something...
