I'm glad you mentioned that as I was wondering if I would do more harm than good trying to remove the snapped ones

I did see a previous post from you, but a bit late. In fairness one bolt was already loose after being snapped and the other snapped when I was undoing it, so not my fault.... This time at least. Just wondering to stop any further damage would it survive with the bolts missing. Can't hear any...

Thanks Alibro. I've replied PM. I've ordered one of the stud /bolt extraction tools to remove the rest if the stud left behind. Have you used these tools and do you think it will work or is there another easier way?

Another question for you Midge 68 or anyone else for that matter. I've unfortunately snapped 2 bolts on the inlet manifold (then found a previous post from you Nodge about how to tighten ☹️). Any ideas how to remove the snapped bolts and what are the new bolts required. I was wondering if it...

All looking good now. But don't know if I'm looking for problems that aren't there but the engine dies seem quite noisy first thing. Not sure if this is just normal diesel engine noise but seems like a Tapping sound. It does seem to go quieter after driving for a few miles. I did an oil change...

All booked for Friday to change VCU and bearings. Just as an add on great service at Bell Engineering taking the 2 VCUs I have in part ex for the new one and also put me off buying the beatings from them as they only have the cheap ones in stock. Went to Island 4x4 in the end for the beatings...

Hi Midge 68 I fud read and noted your advice as you seem to know what you talking about. I've check the tyres and the new ones are exactly the same height and size as the ones not changed if looks like they were brand new when I hit the car, I've even done the test with a plank of wood on top of...

I'm hoping it's not the VCU as got a receipt when I bought the car from Bell Engineering for Recon VCU and car only done 800 miles since replacement. Changed the Diff oil yesterday and also found that it looks like the rear near side wheel bearing has some play so will look to change. Also...

Got a similar issue just had 2 new tyres on the front and the back are very good. Since I had them fitted I gave a winning sound which sounds like coming from the back at around 30 mph which wasn't there before. I have changed them for the back I e. Back now on front and vica versa but the...

Just a recap of my issue which is now solved..... Bought the car and noticed it was quite a bit down on power, changed maf for a standard motor factors one which made the car even worse. Garage asked to fit a bosch maf but fitted a standard MF naff better but still dangerous to drive..... Stay...
