yes it ran once the rings were fitted, started after a few attempts but was still very lumpy

ye we already have the stuff, its a primer that my dad uses to paint the galvanised chassis's, have also used it on the last 2 galvanised bulkheads we have done and put hammerite on top, works really well! thanks anyway:)

forgot to say, im also looking for a tub, as you may have noticed my current one is a mess, i have got one that i can have which i will probably go for but it needs a floor and the right hand panel needs straightening, so if anyone knows of a better one that is being sold then please let me know...

put the gearbox back together yesterday night, and a bit of swearing later it was on and working as it should, really pleased :) so took the bulkhead to the galvanisers today, should be back in a couple of weeks, also threw in some rear under floor struts, because i can really :)...

tonight ive painted up the hubs on the front and the drums and sorted out everything else to do with the axles, i had ten minutes so i scraped some s**t off of the gearbox and it looks like it is going to come up quiet nice so of course some pics: i will carry on...

right been down the workshop since i got home tonight last night putting the bolts back on the drive members i found that on had a bolt that was not original and way to big and with a nut on to make it fit and just to finish it off someone had ripped the thread out on the big bolt as well...

thanks matey and according to my mates who spend their days on street corners :) it is a waste of money!! but i think its worth every penny! (and it is much more fun in the workshop, even on boring days!!) and yes i am very lucky to have all the equipment to use... or according to my dad...

sorry i forgot to post a pic of the rolling chassis bit in the mean time i have changed the rear wheel cylinders and done all of the hoses and the back axles pipes and then went to sheffield today to pick up my bulkhead, so even more jobs to do!! some pics...

right got home from school today and finally my drill bit had turned up so i could get on with it! so its now a rolling chassis and looks brill didnt get time to take pics but will try and get some tommorow

right both the axles are ready with all new bushes and bolts but i havnt been able to fit them because the drill bit i ordered from toolstation to drill out the chassis still hasnt turned up so here is a pic of the chassis and the finished axles waiting to be fitted:

yes im very very lucky with the equipment i can use but i do get told off a lot for stealing (using) tools :)
