I'd like to thank the person who came up with this mod I've fitted it today as so far so good. I bought the fork from eBay £40 and then the steel bar was £10 but had enough to make about 5 of them. Took me about an hour to turn it on the lathe but last time I used one was in high school 15 years...

Look a lot better than the 5 bar stuff. .. need a picture of them fitted like you say that will help

The wheels are not worth a great deal. It's the tyres that are going to get the money but you'd probably end up selling them cheaper than what was paid for them.
