Cross axle, enlighten me a tad G-man, im new to all this but im starting to get in to it. At the mo it only has parabolic springs and i think theyre procomp shocks. What do i need or should i just buy one a lot better specced?. Its just i like tinkering

Well i presume that the standard halfshafts to my diffs are ten spline, so i presume its a ten spline diff :ocant see much on mine but the rear diff does say rover on it if that helps. Are they any good and if not what will interchange with them. Its a v8 series2a with lt95 box. Id like to...

TheSmiths88 were right:) Apparently the box is a LT95. which i dont know is good or bad

how can i tell which box it has? Also what spline are the series rear diffs

Due to being a first time landy owner, ive got to admit i know bugger all about them, but i'll learn and i am having a good time.At the minute ive got a series2 but i think its series 3 fronted (well its flat thru the front), thats v8 powered, mach5's, parabolic springs loads of odds and sods...

Where can i get a new rear window track. It has sliding windows in the rear of the cab. vehicle is a 88 series 2 with no back on.

I dont think it'll fit. My series 2 appears to have a series3 front on it and the grill is in line with the front of the front wings so i reckon i'll have to adapt one. Are the defender chassis rails the same width spacing as the series 2 chassis:confused:
