Thanks for that, don't allthat and all ok. Removed the stepper thingy, cleant it and replaced. Started and ran for ten minutes and seemed ok. Took it for a drive and idle really high as before. Is it worth changing the stepper thingy.how does it work? Could it be the timing being a tad out?

As title. starts first turn, ticks over a tad high at 1k, but after its driven a few miles the revs on idle are about 2k. its a 3.9 v8 on petrol and gas. It does the same on either. I have searched and searched but to no exact match of the problem. ive had a look at the vacuum hoses and all...

Ive been looking at a disco thats been bobtailed. As its had the rear of the chassis shortened and the rear of the vehicle cut, is it still a legal vehicle as none of the suspension points etc on the chassis have been touched. Dony want something thats not legal, thanks

Thanks for yr help, all sorted. Lights were all wired properly and with relays. It ended up being a break in a headlight earth. Found it by luck. All working super duper as it should !:) Thanks again

they are on switches, but tried everything i can but no headlights at all!!

My series has 2 spots on the front A bar. Have changed these to 4 on a roof bar but!!!. Took power from orig to the four so that they only came on on main beam and go off when on dip. Wouldnt turn off on dip, oh bugger old ones did. ****ed around for a bit then front headlights stopped working...

You chaps running the GB springs, are any of you running a v8 with a lt 95 box. I just want to make sure that the weight of them , makes no difference to the spring loading. I changed springs from side to side today :(, no difference. All chassis measures up spot on, so theres no trouble there...

For my landy series 2a. What other rims will fit it. I have tried the search but i couldnt find what i wanted. Its for my off road landy, i want to fit larger rims and would like to know the offsett thats needed and the pcd and hub center hole, thanks

Is there anyway to correct this, ive tried undoing and retightened the shackles but too no avail. Its on a swb v8 series 2a. At the worst scenario i suppose i could make slightly longer shackles for the drivers side :eek:. Help me out please chaps

Thanks fellas, im gonna bleed the clutch on monday. Its a bit strange actually, as if i just drive forward it gives me no trouble at all. Its only if the first gear i have to use is reverse. But once it goes into gear its fine for the just of the time. There is no whining or grating or nothing...
