    Saw something amazing this weekend...

I'm used to cars where other drivers wave so I was a little put out when the first one I encountered in my lse didn't. Grumpy sod. There are a few around here but they seem to be tools rather than enthusiasts. Got a wave from a 110 but that turned out to be a local landy specialist so doesn't...

    Heated front screen fuses

94 Mike. Rave does indeed say there are 2 fuses by the bonnet pull on the passenger side and an inline maxi fuse (whatever that is) between the coolant reservoir and battery. I'll look again.

    Heated front screen fuses

Thanks guys. The glovebox reference actually came from the handbook! I'll have a look on RAVE

    Heated front screen fuses

Allegedly behind the glove box but I can't see them. Anyone any pointers?

    wing mirrors and drivers seat?

Appears to have been a loose connection in the fuse box under the drivers seat. Hopefully all is well now.

    wing mirrors and drivers seat?

Is there a shared fuse/relay etc between the drivers electrical seat movement and the wing mirrors? I'm getting an intermittent fault where neither work but the passenger one always does?

    Locked out of my RRC...

Mike, Central locking should work off key so does rather point towards the battery. Depending on your alarm it may not go off if the battery is dead? It may be that you are arming and disarming the alarm but the cl is not operating. Problem is you don't know whether you are armed or not! Only...

Replacing bulbs in the dash switches?

Ah well just changed my 2 spares into those that don't work and they still don't work. I imagine its just the bulbs. But I noticed that the bulbs may be different. Some have green bases, some brown and some black. And of course they have different coloured output - orange and green. So need to...

Replacing bulbs in the dash switches?

I have a couple of spares which makes it easier - turn the head until it is at its loosest and then put a small blade under it and lift. They come out honest! David

Replacing bulbs in the dash switches?

Mike, I asked in another thread. Someone suggested Maplins?

    interior bulbs and mirror glass

I need a couple of tiny bulbs for the switches on my softdash - anyone know where to get them. I think its for the interior light switch and front heated screen. Had a look at a couple of sites - paddocks etc and I can't see any listed. Also some egit in a transit decided he wanted my side of...

Front clear wind screen on my RRC is not working!

As the weather changes it reminded me that I have a strip about 3 inches wide that does work and nothing else. So some power gets through but the rest? Is it in sections or do I just need a new screen?

My Range Rover Classic expedition project (ongoing, pics etc)

15 mins away - shame I've got visitors or I'd pop down and see you. Ah well.

Mike, Where are off to on Sunday then?

My Range Rover Classic expedition project (ongoing, pics etc)

Mike, Keen to follow your heated seats issues. My drivers one doesn't work, actually not sure about the passenger one, rarely have a passenger! Both lights come on on the switches so I assume the basic electrics are ok. Is there a separate fuse for the heating element?

What mileage is your Range Rover Classic on?

185000 ish here and not going badly. Probably could do with a new cam but maybe next year.

Can I get cheaper road tax...

How? I looked at this when I bought mine and there was nothing doing as I recall.

Replacing bulbs in the dash switches?

I think the gear selector is easy enough. Just remove the trim and there is a bulb for each side. I have one side one and one off and I keep meaning to fix that.
