I'm in the usual situation with my front seats. ECU is fubared (actually its missing but that's another story) and the drivers seat really needs some work. So as the electrical connections are there how easy might it be to use the rather more plentiful p38 bits?

Thanks. They do but that's a Rover V8 not the BMW unit in the L322. (which on reflection I didn't mention hence the confusion!) Bored out 4.4 BMW engine to give 385 bhp about 4 years before the sc jag unit was used.

Anyone know anything about these? The oracle that is Clarkson in an old tg video suggested a very expensive crank but it may be these are prone to failure and very expensive to fix if you could even find one. Otherwise they sound great.

The others were checked and deemed ok and it looks like they have been changed out of sequence in the past hence one needing doing but its a fair point all the same. I suppose I could just have moved the "weak" point.

My eas is working as it should be but there is an odd pump sort of noise around the drivers rear wheel alot of the time. I'm assuming the pump is working more than it should. I had one airbag changed this summer as it sagged a bit but now it will drop onto its bump stops after 36 hrs stationary...
