how do you check the relay then ? what does it even look like, all I can see under the seat is the amp and a connector with a cable going up into the seat. again thanks for any info.

yes..does the relay control both seats or individual ones as the driver side works ok ? got a feeling its the elements so will have to bung the multi meter on the plug at the seat end to find out.

just managed to bag a ronbox2 from the bay of the E, however, having read it seams like hundreds of threads I still cant figure out what settings to put it on, I have a TD4 with a bosh maf, how do you set the different errrr..settings on the actual box (haven't actually received it yet so hard...

just finished replacing the usual window regulator in the rear n/s, not as bad as I thought though as I had not done one before, will be easier to do next time , and there will come a time...

you are absolutely right of course guineafowl21, in fact you prompted me into checking the prop movement before going to "Bell" for a professional double check , which he confirmed for me, what got me was the fact that the bearings were screwed in such a short time....if cheap replacements then...

yes mate, spoke to my local indi guy and he said LR ones are (sharp intake of breath) expensive, cant remember which ones he said he uses...said they are okay but I'm spooked...he is phoning me this week with parts price...but I will insist on OEM with him or source them myself for him to fit...

thing is guy;s what can I do if there isn't enough cable to solder too at the plug end..need to fix it as I am OCD or will it be okay till I can source a new cable (if it can be replaced) ?

Skinny Mike you are spot on, well about 99% mate, took my TD4 to bell's and he found that the rear bearing was flopping about like the skin on a dieters stomach... well actually the bearing was intact but the rubber surround had failed. So the vcu and the ird was ok, so need to change both...

just got back from a trip to wales and my TD4 it feels like a lot more vibration than there used to be...like it feels its in 3rd gear instead of 5th..more buzzy, and on turning especially left..a deep rumbling noise is felt (like big end bearing noise), Now it would seem to me that it might be...

hi all just noticed that one of the two wires to my Intake Air Temperature Sensor (in intake pipe above inlet manifold) is broken, the other wire is ok, I have no black smoke and turbo boosts ok and the TD4 (2004) pulls well. so what difference will it make without being fixed ? also the broken...
