I've gone and boiled my head...... on my 300tdi disco that is, and need another one.I've had a look on ebay and people want silly money for them.Has anyone got one at a reasonable price they want to get rid of? cheers

I like to over engineer things,but see what you mean.At least they'll never rot again!lol I just got to get A & B post repair sections,then ready to go.This write up should definitaley be a sticky if it's not already.

I've now got my 100x60x5 box section.I bought a 7.5m length and had it cut into 1450 lengths by the supplier.That gives me 50mm to play with according to the drawings.I've got 5 lengths,so will have 2 for sale...

Just ordered a 7metre length of 100x60x5 box section for approx £75.this will be enough to make up 4 sills,so will have some spare once mines done.Excellent write up,and will be using this to do mine.

Does anyone know where to get replacement seals for the rear side windows on a 1994 disco 300tdi?

Can anyone recommend a good dash mounted cabin heater for early morning starts as the vehicle heater takes so long to warm up in the winter,and the windscreen takes ages to defrost.Seen a couple of 200watt ones but not sure what to go for.

Got 235/70/16 Cooper ST's on my Disco 1 auto.Great while driving in snow,but pull off from standstill uphill in more than 4 inches of snow with diff lock on and still takes some getting going.Bit of a pig if you gotta hit the brakes too with no abs..good fun though,so gonna try them out again as...

When I give my Disco 1 full left lock,especially in reverse,the tyre hits the radius arm.I can't see any obvious wear on bushes etc.. and can't see the lock stops suggested in the haynes manual to adjust.It's ok on full right lock.Any suggestions/photos where I need to look would be helpful thanks.
