Its a small hole but you can see it is rotten from the hub area towards the rear of the car.shame rest of car fine don't see the point in welding plate when the rest has clearly had it.One side worse than the other.

My car passed its mot yersterday after i had the trackrod ends changed.On inspecting the advisories i found a small hole in the rear subframe nr side next to fuel tank.As it is only a small hole i think i would get away with sealing it.For now i have wire brushed and hammerited it.Can anyone...
I have had same problem took console and gear knob off to check bias plate couldnt find fault.Some one said there is plastic under that breaks but i didnt check that or linkage.Paid garage £60 or so guid to change gear box oil been ok since any more problems ill check other suggestions
I tried the landrover jack again on my td5 it worked fine new you couldnt all be wrong.Couldnt have tightend valve enough at least i know the drill if the need arises.As for now changed spare for rear wich was down to 3mm.You get some stick on here but you get the facts to thanks again.
I was looking at doing mine but having no where to climb under clean and dry.Then pumping the oil in i got a 4x4 centre to do it £60 i think.Saved me the bother
