    P38 Rangey EAS Problem

Glad to hear it's all working again so does that mean I was right?

    New Compressor

Have you considered going to a breaker? Up here we can get a whole EAS Unit (the black box) including the mounts for £80. Just a thought.

    Tatty paint

4K's a LOT of money and tyres will set you back 150+ each so I'd arrange the following into a sentence. "pole a touch wouldn't it barge with"

    Ultimate Fuel. An Experiment

Ah well that's easy. In the early days you'll recall that Unleaded and even 4* were cheaper than diesel as the number of users were in the majority, now of course it is the other way round so Mr. Chancellor taxes accordingly. It's all motivated by greed, it is in my opinion nothing to do with...

    Ultimate Fuel. An Experiment

Further to comments made in a recent post I have today fed the 'Old Cow' with 80 litres of BP Ultimate at a whopping cost of £101.96. I'm not expecting my car to turn in to a rocket, but to be honest I do expect 'results'. On the last fill of Tesco standard grade I got 21.8 to the gallon. So...

L322 bit rough starting when been left

I'll be honest and tell you I know nothing about this model, however, what does raise an eyebrow is the fact that petrol can evaporate from a sealed system! Where on earth your friend get that idea. OK I may be wrong but....

Is it not time that this forum was subdivided into Classic, P38 & L322?

Of course what would make more sense is if people made use of the ability to tag the posts, e.g. P38 DSE. .... That then eliminates the need for any sub-divisions but has the advantage of filtering the results of any search, and hopefully keeps everyone happy. Just a thought.

Hey now come on that's a bit unfair, what gives you the right in calling everyone a critic. :D

    Air temp sensor location?

FFS Fanatic, I'm dissappointed, a whole thread and your didn't even tell him to "Burn It", I assume you're in 'Holiday Mode'. :p

You wouldn't be implying that these people are using SISO algorithms to manipulate their data to bias the results would you. :D

Well they can't be that for over your head or you wouldn't have been able to post. Unless of course you have your own P.A. :D

diesel injectors wanted, new or recon??

Can't help you with a supplier as the Garage replaced my number 4 injector and what a difference it made. It starts better, idles better, performs better and I now get better MPG as a result. They didn't replace the others so maybe you don't need to replace yours. But if you have a spare 750...

In a free world everyone is entitled to their opinion so this is mine. I've often thought about feeding the 'Old Cow' hi grade oil but to date I've never had any issues with my current supplier (Tesco) I've put in 1000s of litres and never had any issues. Having said that of course I've never...

That's a bit unfair, I'm a Computer Programmer and I find that most of the 'faults' found with a PC can be attributed to the input device located between the keyboard and the seat.

    Desperate.

The last thing you need is a slow puncture, I had one of these things before and I fixed it by slashing my tyres. It really worked and it cost me nothing. :D
