Hello again Tony and :welcome2: to the forum.

    EAS Driver Pack

The air drier is supposed to have a life as long as the vehicle, but of course since I assume no one knows what constitutes a life, then it may well be duff. They are quite cheap so I guess no big expense to get one and rule it out of the equation.

My P38's EAS a progress report.

Well unless you replaced it while the vehicle was an a evenly flat surface then you may not need to (but others may correct me). Unfortunately I didn't so had to re-calibrate.

Well that's worth more than a temporal MOT.

Well I am a very :) chap. The suspension survived the night without losing air (not bad considering I fixed it!), and this lunchtime I 'borrowed' a flat floor and calibrated it. The EAS is now doing what it was designed to do and auto adjusting as needed.

My P38's EAS a progress report.

Well, I went to the scrap yard this morning and got myself a drive pack came home disassembled my own unit attached 2nd hand one and reassembled. I am now back on the road. The suspension does need calibrating, but that's a job for another day. Also, went back to the Stratstone dealership in...

I know, I'm dreading the lifting of the bonnet to see if, how I can fix it. But needless to say I'll provide an update (or two, three...).

My P38's EAS a progress report.

Well, I've finally got my Range Rover back. :) But, it's still not working. :( I called Stratstones in Perth today to ask if they had a cunning plan to fix it having changed the ride height sensors. And indeed they did have a cunning plan and that was to screw me for 750+ for a new valve...

    Diagnostic Hardware what to buy.

Hey, thanks for that. What can I say, I've never used your hardware or software yet but as a professional software engineer myself (C, C++, ASM, PIC and Java) I know that doing this is not a trivial task. I had, as you may be aware, contemplated doing this myself but it would simply have been...

My P38's EAS a progress report.

Well that's it nothing, I know the compressor's good as it's new, but the EAS went down on me after I took a dive into a pothole. The front driver's side took a real smack and shortly after the EAS failed and went on to bump stops. So with that said I can understand one of the RHS being duff...

My P38's EAS a progress report.

Update: Well I heard from the dealer on Friday and the 4 new RH Sensors have been replaced but the fault remains (well no surprises there), having been told now that the sensors were "all seized", as this had never been mentioned before. If these units were seized why would they give a...

    EAS Driver Pack

This is located beside the valve block in the EAS Pump Housing. I guess they could over time but it may be that there is a PCB inside the drive pack and the solder joints on this is failing. -- Woogoo
