so as long as a good strip down of rust and bit prep and woud be all right. so the discos are good off road, defo worth thinking about

that puts me off the older discos. its not the boot floor or the sills its just getting a good chassis to build around. it is not worth gettin a new one for an old disco. so would have to look for a good one.

i understand that 90 can be pure beast off road, but how good are series 3 just no one i know has one so never seen one in action

am wanting to buy a nice little fixer upper to go off roading if. If am honest i would like a 90 but they are bit to expensive for me at the mo. i know i could get a cheap disco. but would like to know if there is any thing else out there worth putting some time into thanks

i have never gone off roading my self so i couldnt tell you whats best. but lot of the lads i know that do use tdi's. they say they are better in the deeper water of course. but deep down the all pine for the power of a good v8

i dont mind women driving cars or even land rovers. but was scare me is my lass driving mine. she took my old astra out one day and came back with a dint in every panel. am a wreck when she goes out ha ha
