We are going to buy a Land Rover Defender 110 XS. What kind of paint on the bodywork should we go for? We can either have a 'flat' colour or a metallic finish. Which is best in your opinion...or does it not matter? Also, we have been offered a couple of 'care' packages and very expensive...

We are about to buy a new Land Rover Defender 110 xs. Is that a mistake? Should we be looking out for a good used one instead? We thought to get new, 'cos they don't seem to depreciate like other cars...and we have never had a brand new car before either. :) esm xx
